Chana made aliyah to Maalot in the western Galil in 2012 with her husband and four of her five children. In the summer of 2018 the family moved down out of the mountains to the town of Nahariya, right on the shore of the Mediterranean Sea. 

Chana’s love for weaving began in Pennsylvania where she was part of a group of women who helped people weave talitot for bnei mitzvot and other uses. She brought this skill with her to Israel, where her artistry has expanded to include not only talitot (large and small), but scarves, blankets, hand bags, specialty art, and more.
